Hey guys! For those of you who didnt come to the Students for Life meeting but are still interested in us, I do have a couple of upcoming opportunities for you to get involved with! This Thursday, the 25th, we need people to come with us to the Howard County Pregnancy Center to help them get ready for their Baby Bottle Initiative in October. We can go around 3 or 4 pm and I can give rides! If you are interested please let me know as soon as possible- they could really use our help! Also, on October 4th, our Students For Life Regional Coordinator is having an activism training in D.C. and students from different colleges all around the Capitol area will be attending! It would be from 9 am to about 3:30 pm, You will hear from experts and peers on the most effective pro-life activism that is changing the culture on campuses across the country. With personalized, hands-on planning and preparation, the SFLA Activism Training and Outreach Summit will leave you confident in your goals and activities, and better equipped to change your campuses for Life. Plus, you get to meet and network with all the other amazing pro-life student activists in your region! I think this would be a really great kick off for our group, so if you are interested please let me know and I can sign us all up as a group.
