For those who missed the posting of the email I received from Norco re Halal Cert (and they are NOT, so buy Norco!) here is the most relevant part of it, showing what a scam HC is: All of our Norco milk and cream manufacturing sites are NOT Halal certified. Norco Foods does not pay for Halal certification or display the certification logo on any of our Norco or Nimbin Cheese consumer products. However, Norco does manufacture and sell a very limited number of ice cream products to other companies to be exported globally throughout various regions. As such, some of these products require this certification which is paid for by the individual company, not Norco Foods. Anyone else wondering how non-Halal products, produced in a non-Halal factory can magically become Halal with the payment of a (no doubt substantial) fee to the HC Board?
