Hey guys! Heres a little vid of the whistle I use to call my dogs. There are many ways to accomplish this but what I do is layer commands in balanced training. What I mean by that is this :: first I teach the desired behavior with leash and prong. Once the dog shows he understands what I want I then add remote (ecollar) training. Since the dog knows the verbal command, leash pressure and how to release it (by doing what I ask), and corrections; we can now add the pressure (sensation) of the r emote collar. This gives us a way to communicate out of sight or at distances and have a solid recall. Once the remote training is solid, we can add whistles or hand signals, etc. Its all about association, clear communication, praise/reward and consequences to have a dog you can take anywhere.
