Hey guys I have a question on shoes lol! So I obviously cant physically run and run the crazyyy amount of miles you guys go but I do try and get out there I have to use my chair more now but I still try and use my Walker dont give up! Well regardless of that I have gone through streams of water above ankle when trail floods! So boots I went through 5 blisters every toe everyday holes in them in less then a week needed an actual shoe, went to road runners they didnt have waterproof anything so got brooks love my brooks however my feet get soaked minute I step in a puddle thats fairly deep so then I went to rei they had a lot of shoes I just didnt know what to get I got Marells the box claims and they said it is waterproof so I tested minute I stepped in a fairly decent puddle feet got wet rained feet got wet through the top mesh part! Sprayed them with waterproof spray didnt help much so im a member can come back to exchange if I want there comfortable but I kind of spent $130 for waterproof so do I go back? Im like bombing out cause I cant get a good one of water goes above ankles arent your feet going to get wet anyway? Step into a deep stream arent your feet going to get soaked? Or is it worth going back? I just dont know what to get frustrated! They didnt have gortex but I dont know what would be the right shoe to get! Or do I just suffer with soaked feet? Lol
