Hey guys, I know its late notice but I need your help. Ive got a 1989 f350 with the 460, c6, and bw 1356 w/ pto and slip yoke rear output. Since I cut 19 out of the center of the frame to shorten the wheel base, I have a pretty radical drive line angle. I do have CV joint attached to the slip yoke end of the drive line to help with the angle but I still have 2 problems to contend with. 1.) The only slip I can have in the drive line is in the transfer case which isnt much. 2.) Id still like to reduce the drive line angle some. So, my question to you all is that I have found another bw 1356 from a 1989 Bronco in good shape but it has fixed u - joint yokes for both drivelines. I do not know what transmission it was mounted to but my questions would be these: 1.) Would the bronco 1356 mate to my c6 without problems? 2.) Would the rear fixed yoke shorten the overall length of the transfer case and after modification to the drive line, reduce the drastic angle? 3.) Also, is there a way just to convert my existing rear output to a bronco or fixed yoke style? I know there are slip yoke eliminator kits but that would only increase my DL angle. Any and all thoughts would be appreciated! The guy is asking $200 for the case and quite a bit of driving, so your input would be appreciated before I begin this endeavor tomorrow. Thanks, Brandon.
