Hey guys I need your help. I have this huge sword (6ft4in) that I used for a recent cosplay. I absolutely love this costume but I need to figure out a way to make this sword collapsible cause I had a heck of a time trying to carefully stuff this baby in my small Saturn ion. I was thinking of making the Handel/hilt part using pvc pipes and making the blade out off poster board and doing a puzzle piecing thing with them (sorry I dont know how else to describe what I want to do). Im not gonna work on it yet so I am open it any suggestions you guys have. Just note that I dont want to use wood because I dont have the tools to work with it and it feels heavy to me. I want to make this sword as light as possible.
