Hey guys, I really need some help ( and if you remember a black bmw doing very bad yesterday, than you know I really need it ), I will tell a the story from the begging in the shortest way possible. I am beginner in drift. The previous car was Genesis coupe 3.8 M/T it was pushing 320 whp the suspension modes were only thicker sway bars, the car had TORSEN LSD from the factory. I started drifting in it and I was pretty comfortable in that car, I visited 5-6 events at Thunderhill and 1-2 in Stockton. I was doing alright, in Thunderhill I will continuously slide the six pack until the tires shred apart. Stockton skid pad was not a problem at all too. A few months I decided to get more into drift and got myself a bmw e36 328 4 door ( I am big BMW fan , had a few bimmers in past). Modes on the e36 so far: Rear subframe Reinforcement plates Polyurethane subframe bushings. M3 Rear trailing arms w/ polyurethane RTAB. BC coilovers. set to 8th setting from the hard rear and front 11lb flywheel and new clutch. Welded 3.15 diff. 225 50 r16 tires at the rear End of pre story. Here is my problem. The e36 felt very unstable , very hard to keep drifting. The car would instantly oversteer too much , when I try to go with less angle the car would start gripping. And in general very nervous. I am confused, may be this is an obvious problem and I dont see it because of lack of experience. I would really appreciate and advise from someone that has a lot of experience. May its the welded diff that I have to get used to, to much traction (225s for 200hp ) or I just have to suck it up and keep practicing. Thanks a lot in advance and sorry for the huge post.
