Hey guys, I really need some support... Recently bought a 100%stock (euro-spec) 92 200sx - ca18det which NEVER worked properly... :-( Trying to sort that-out during the last months... but no luck. BTW: the vídeo below posted its NOT mine... but the symptons are very similar, including that flutering back-pressure sound. -that one actually sounds cool... but I guess its not normal!...): youtu.be/1WJ3sroNSHA Symptoms of own mine: -From 0-3000 rpm sounds like a WRX; -Within that range,shakes like if missing 1 (or 2!) cylinder(s); -Its not able to hold the idle, slowly reduces to 500 rpm and stalls; -Once-n-while (at low rpms) it backfires - inside the intake manif. -Seems that the exhaust (specially the cat) is kinda overheating... maybe just a feel... since I do not have any exhaust temp gauge... What I already tried so far: -Switched: Spark-plugs(new); one-of the coils(new); Coils wiring (new); MAF (used-seemed OK); TPS (used-seemed OK); -Modded: Hot-start delete mod (no change); Charcoal Can. delete mod (no change); -Checked: vacuum leaks; PCV; CAS adjust (I can only adjust it unpluging the MAF - safe mode at ca. 2000rpm), since the engine not idleing... Feeling stranded and frustrated... any help highly appreciated. Thanks for patience reading this... :-)
