Hey guys, I was listening to Matty Mullins song 99% Soul and was thinking about the lyrics. the chorus goes One percent body, ninety-nine percent soul I want to look like you, talk like you, know you more One percent body, ninety-nine percent soul Make me more like you, come on and make me whole This should be our prayer as well, in other words let us walk in the Spirit, not in the flesh. Galatians 5:16 tells us But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. If we walk by the Spirit, allowing the Lord to have our attention at the start of our day, filling our hearts with His Word, and walking in an attitude of prayer will continue to become whole more and more everyday. What does a Spirit filled life look like? well, just look at the fruits of the Spirit: Galatians 5:22-24 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. 24 And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Does your attitude show these traits? to your friends? family? to strangers? music is such a powerful force whether we realize it or not - If we agree with lyrics, lets live like it.
