Hey guys, Im selling our 2014 Rally Car if anyone wants to take a proven veteran with them this year, looking for £200 but open to negotiation. Drove all the way to Mongolia and back this summer, had a few minor issues (clutch cable snapped, anti-roll bar came loose), but thats to be expected from 21 year old car. The engine and everything is a trooper, starts first time every time. Even towed a fully laden micra 700 miles through hilly Siberia. Ive been using it to get around Bristol and up to Leeds and back since completing the rally, and its been absolutely fine. Beautifully nippy car to drive! -1993 1.0 VW Polo with custom hand painted racing stripe -117000 Miles -AUX/CD/USB Radio with working speakers and retro extending bonnet arial -Foglights on grill (One is cracked, still works) -Roof Rack (With mounts for extra foglights) -Heavy duty van tyres on front wheels -Full spare set of wheels and tyres -Variety of spare parts inc. Headgasket, fuel filter, drivebelt -Three-tone alternating airhorn (can be set to super loud all-at-same-time mode) Needs its MOT in february, and has the following issues: -Suspension bit dodgy all round, took a battering -Dent in drivers footwell (doesnt get in the way too much though) -Anti-roll bar bolt was lost and replaced with a cheap but sturdy looking thing from a mongolian hardware shop -Chassis has been welded by russians to fix a crack (caused by flexing anti-roll bar after loosing bolt), seems fine now -Alternator cable is half severed and held together by tape. Not caused me any problems but might want to fix it properly. -Door handles very stiff, full of Kazakh desert dust -Clutch cable is from an Uzbeki Chevolet, works absolutely fine though. -Front bumper held on by cable ties -Rear bumper graffiti damaged Having said that, im confident the engine is an absolute trooper and will keep running and running. Had the water pump and cambelt changed pre rally (99000 miles). Let me know if youre interested!
