Hey guys! Meeting on Monday! Well basically talk about the bottle fundraiser and wrap ink cartridges :D I wanted to share this article with everybody because we are in environmental club and I feel like we are so uninformed about what is going on in the environment (the irony LOL) Basically this article is about these cute birds called Puffins (they have a cute name too hehe) Unfortunately, Puffins are going extinct because of global warming. They feed on a particular species of fish and these fish are dying out too. :( youtube/watch?v=zoHD2GxcBMw I recommend that everybody watch this video because it describes the Puffins plight toward extinction. Puffins are so influential in Icelandic culture; it would be such a shame if the Puffins went extinct. What should we do about the Puffins situation?! We should be mindful of how much energy we waste! Electricity is generated by burning coal and by using less electricity we can make a great difference. Small things like taking public transit or walking over driving can accumulate to impact the bigger picture! So over the weekend I hope you guys think about how beautiful Earth and once a species is extinct it can NEVER come back. Have a fantastic weekend! :D #SavethePuffins
