Hey guys, My name is Michael and I run Industrees. Formally Totally Trees and Splicing. Industrees is a small retail arb/rope access/ rock climbing shop, we also undertake custom splicing and stitched terminations. Ive been splicing for around 5 years and have been doing it commercially for around 2 years. Over that time i have competed 100s of splices and stitches. I am more than happy to help you advice, tips and trick and experience. Just one thing: Splicing is an art and you have to practice it. Please do not climb on your first splice! You have to complete as many as you can and get them break tested BEFORE you trust your life or someone else to it! My general rule is you have to be able to complete the splice consistently (in that rope) and get at least 5 tested. I have boxes and boxes of broken stitches and splices. Climb Safe and Splice Easy!
