Hey guys! Sorry I havent been on much...My iPods busted so I only have my tablet (which only half-works) and I cant post pictures so... Anyways...I just finished Champion and ARGHHHHHH. So much frustraion. (If you havent read the Legend series yet you should totally get on it!) SPOILERS! . . . . . . . . . . . . So...the whole book was just like, sorta kinda depressing. Especially because Day was dying and he and June barely were talking and when they did Day made her feel guilty even though it really wasnt her fault. I felt like he was a little too obsessed with his brother, and I get that he was the only family he had left, but still...and the end was SUUUPER frustrating! I mean...I feel like the amnesia plot twist is happening way too often in YA fiction. And if that hapene, kay, fine, but I hated that we never got to see them mend that, only a hint at it in the epilogue. I just wanted to see them happy :( Also, the whole ending was sort of anticlimactic. So, Day gets shot twice and June rushed to help him and then BAM lets skip to 5 months later. How the heck did the Republic win? How did they push the Chancellor out? Did the Republics people ever fight? Who else died? Just, ugh. I dont know, I still love the series, but all in all Champion wasnt very satisfying. Anyway, what are some of your opinions? ~WindyCityReader
