Hey guys just another inspirational speech. Someone at work today approached me and told me I have a rare gift. My gift being I have a big heart and enjoy helping others. Now please keep reading because I know it sounds like Im tooting my own horn right now but allow me to continue. I just do my job and all it requires. If I do more thats great if not then Ill try harder. Sometimes I become very passionate and it comes across as anger but its only I take pride in my work. The same pride God had when he made you and me. Each of us different, specially built for a task we will never know is coming. Heres the part where Gods grace comes in. He builds us up from child hood knowing we are going to do something great. That since of childhood marvel with ones own ability to perform a simple task and succeed. Making a macaroni heart for Mom on Mothers Day, scoring a winning touch down and seeing Dad jump up and down in the stands like a little kid, or even simply placing the last puzzle piece in a 1000 piece puzzle. Its a since of pride, of accomplishment, a moment when the world fades and you stand as a hero/heroine and laugh at all your obsticles that tried to stop you along the way. But somewhere along the path we begin to listen to the world again, to doubt our greatness, to fear what lies ahead. Basically put we grow up. We stop taking risks, we quite standing up and join the crowd in the stands, but worst of all we doubt the gift God has givin us. The gift of free will, a power to choose how we can show him homage by our greatness. Everything we do is to reflect our relationship with Him. So if I love and cherish those around me by taking my servants heart and using it to show Gods love for us all then I will work till my bones ache, my knees tremble, and my eyes sting with sweat. But I do it in His name, not my own, for I am just a lump of clay that was giving the chance to serve an almighty God. I want to set a challenge this week for myself and others, forgive a the unforgivable, help the stubborn, and make friends with an sold enemy. Until next time.
