Hey guys, just put this little video together of a couple of Coastal carpet pythons striking out at the camera. Gives you a real appreciation of how fast they can strike, but also how accurate their strike is! Check out the classic S shape pose and the constant fast tongue flicking, two key signs that a snake is about to strike! Also notice that the snake goes straight back into the S shape coil pose straight after the strike! Pretty amazing! You can really see the S shape pose in the shadow of the second snake, its like a backwards Superman Symbol! Enjoy!
