Hey guys, just thought you may be interested. Im a pilot and fly out of Caboolture 6 days a week, and have been for about 8 years. One of my main flights is over to Moreton Is, tracking south over Nth Straddie and across to Jacobs Well. Ive been seeing a fair bit of shark activity about 4nm off the northern end of Moreton Is, on the western side, and roughly half way between Bribie and Moreron Is around the sand bank. Last week off the southern tip of Moreton Is, on the eastern side, I spotted 2 big fellas and as I tracked North, I spotted about 6 by the time I got to the lighthouse, all pretty close to the shore. Just thought Id post, if anyone targets around the islands. Cheers!
