Hey guys, so I am halfway through replacing my axles and struts, popped the passenger side axle off because I heard the easiest thing to do is push the drivers side out from the passenger side. Well, I look into the tranny and I see this. The path is completely blocked by a metal rod of some sort. Ive read theres usually a slot big enough for a 1/4 rod to fit through. Tried a slide hammer in the drivers side and my inner cv disintegrated, so now I dont know what to do. But I am curious, whats going on with my differential? Is this some shitty aftermarket replacement diff? I tried my best to get a decent picture, it is a bit blurry but I think you can see it well enough. Gonna get back at it in the daylight, and after the axles I have a bent tie rod to remove which just looks like a barrel of monkeys worth of fun... Oh the joys of the svt world
