Hey guys, this is Ismaeel Malik, live from Jerusalem. They say theres a first time for everything. Well, this is the story of the first time I heard gunshots. I was casually strolling through the Old City in Jerusalem on the way back to my hotel with a friend showing me around when I came across a beautiful small group of peaceful protesters. Suddenly I felt my friend drag me to the side and lo and behold, shots were fired from the Israeli soldiers. The sky was filled with smoke and gas. When the smoke cleared, I was able to take a video, and the pictures below are some screenshots. A 13-ish year old boys hand overflowing with blood. An old lady in her late fifties watching seemingly casually as a paramedic spontaneously ties a tourniquet. Finally, I doubt I can confirm whether the man in the third pic was alive or dead, but he sure went through a lot of pain as his closed eyes concealed blood. Really sad. And thats an understatement. I can still hear the voice of my new Israeli friend I met at the border boast about how Isghaeel is the only demokghatic nation in the Middle East. Not sure I can agree with him anymore. Theres something to be said about Crowd Control 101. Can you say, hypocrisy?
