Hey guys, what are your thoughts on the Fast and Furious franchise? Me personally, I love the new take on the franchise starting with Fast Five. Paul Walker was in an interview talking about the possibility of FF9 and FF10 because FF8 is already guaranteed. With the new direction, we are treated to a new brand of high-octane action that is no longer confined to the sub-genre of car racing. It is now a versatile action movie franchise consisting of car chases, gun battles and well choreographed hand to hand combat. There is no action movie franchise that exists today that is as consistent as the FF franchise. Before it was Die Hard but at this point in time, there really isnt anything else filling that void in Hollywood.
