Hey guyyss Sorry for the delayed post! Day #4 Hey - TopicsExpress

Hey guyyss Sorry for the delayed post! Day #4 Hey guys Today was a marvelous, super successful day!! I sold samosas at Nishi-Kasai Station and I managed to once again, sell all my stock for the day! Today was the most exciting day in my samosa selling project so far because of two reasons mainly. Firstly instead of selling large quantities of samosas to a few number of individuals like I did at Toyocho station, I sold to various people in small quantities which is to say we were able to attract many people passing by. Secondly it was a great learning experience talking to many different kind of people, which under normal circumstances I would have regarded them as complete strangers. To share few instances, As we were selling next to a taxi stand, I would occasionally notice several taxi drivers glancing over at our stall. I didn’t think however that anyone from them would actually come out of taxi to buy samosas. Hence it was a pleasant surprise when one taxi driver unexpectedly approached me to inquire and purchase my samosas and distribute them amongst other taxi drivers. On other instance, as I watched hopefully at the train exit for the next wave of people to approach by, my eyes stopped and squinted at face that appeared somewhat familiar to me. As the figure steadily came nearer I was shocked to realize that it was the same man who smiled and walked past us while we were selling samosa at Toyocho Station a few days ago. I could tell that he was as surprised as I was as he waved and then walked over to my stand to have a conversation and buy a samosa as well. And as he walked by I couldnt stop smiling at this coincidence and it made me realize what a small world it is. And then, there was an instance when we were having fun calling out for customers, I saw 2 men at a distance walking in our direction very peculiarly and unsteadily. As they came closer I noticed the wobbly walk and understood that they were quite drunk. They finally managed to walk to the stand and buy some samosas. At first I was terrified as I thought they were going to sabotage our stand but later I realized that they were kind people as they sat right next to our stand to eat the samosas and tell us how good they were. As they finished eating the samosas and were to leave, they bought us 4 cold drinks from near by convenient store. Now, if you remember the problems that I was facing: attracting passing customers and explaining samosas to people - by combinations of few ideas that were suggested, I am beginning to see some success in both. I would work to refine these ideas in the days to follow. I hope to elaborate on these ideas on my following posts. In the end I would just like to convey my gratitude and huge thanks to Nagomi and her mother ( Chieko Watanabe ) for helping me out for hours today. Having the company I didnt realize that I ended up selling samosa until 7: 30pm! We chatted and caught up on each others lives while simultaneously have fun serving customers and be great saleswomen. Thank you for encouraging me and being such a great supporter. I also want to thank my old school buddy Tamanna for stopping by and buying some samosas! I plan to sell for 2 more days so I hope that each of those would bring some further learning to me. P.S I will post my locations for the next 2 days later today so keep an eye out! Thank you!
