Hey ladies, as some of you know our fellow rugger Gabe Pearce passed away early Thursday morning. Gabe was the president of the Mens Team at VCU and was a exemplary leader and a very dear friend to me and others on our team. He shared the vision with our former president Liz Dodson that our teams be unified and form a friendship which was successful for the most part. He was a gentleman, a honorary student, a great hooker/prop and a brother at heart. I know without him I have a huge hole in my heart, and so does the rugby community here at VCU. If you would like to pay your respect to such an amazing man there are viewings today from 2-4PM and 6-8PM at: West Chapel of Bennett Funeral Homes, 11020 West Broad St., Glen Allen, Va. 23060 and his Funeral will be on Monday at 5 PM at: Berea Baptist Church, 15421 Pouncey Tract Rd., Rockville, Va. 23146 Also his family is asking for donations in lieu of flowers be made to Gabe Pearce Memorial Fund for VCU Rugby.
