Hey ma peeps! You are looking at (or hearing from) the newest Professor at San Diego State University! My first class will be in Nov., and is a 1-unit class on Youth and Gangs. IF YOU KNOW A FORMER GANG MEMBER who has TRULY CHANGED THEIR LIFE and would be interested in speaking to my class, please have them contact me ASAP. Now, Im not just talking about crips and bloods, Im reaching out to my Hispanic/Mexican brothers AND sistas, Asian gangs, Italian gangs, etc. Maybe you know someone who wasnt in a street gang, but had to join a prison gang. Id like to extend the invitation to them as well. I only need 4-5 people, but would like to have at least 3-4 different types of gangs represented. Unfortunately, this is a nonpaid, volunteer gig.
