Hey musicians and sound makers of all kinds, Bring your instruments or just yourselves for Conversations, Constellations, and now a musical composition with NEA Southern Constellations fellow Andrew Raffo Dewar tonight from 5:30 - 7. Raffo Dewar will discuss the development of his project “Material Music,”centering around the creation of a graphic and tactile score constructed from Elsewhere’s collection of things. Dewar will also lead event goers in scavenging the museum for interesting shapes and forms to be included in the experimental found-object musical composition. Musicians and sound makers from all backgrounds and skill levels are invited to bring their instruments to take part in exploratory readings of the work in progress. See you tonight!
