Hey my fellow SAGHS sisters! Ive been meaning to post this for the longest while (like since last year in college lol) but, never late than never right? Now I know CAPE has all driven us to the point where we we questioned the very meaning of life and wanted to drop out of SAGHS and either sell nuts or doubles (or both). Trust me, my year (Form 6 Grad Class of 2011) had already worked out where our branches gonna be, who working what shift on highway for de nuts and all that jazz lol. I know sometimes were like: What CAPE good for besides torturing teens for 2 years, and then it might not be good for nothing besides use in the Caribbean? Not the case...so I was PLEASANTLY SURPRISED to find out when I came to my college. I attend University of Houston and they actually recognize CAPE!!! So all my 3 main CAPE subjects (Pure Math, Physics and Chem) were transferred into University-level credits: Calculus 1 and 2, Phys 1 and 2, Chem 1 and 2, and the labs for those sciences. And actually all of these classes are wayyy more advanced than I need for my degree plan. Acquiring these college credits from CAPE cut down the time Ill get my degree BY A WHOLE YEAR!! So instead of graduation with my B.S. in 2017, Ill be outta here by 2016!! Go CAPE!!!! So please girls, take CAPE seriously...work hard now and play later! Also to a ALL THOSE WHO ARE GOING TO STUDY ABROAD...when you are looking for universities to apply to, Google colleges that accept CAPE. CAPE is not only recognized in the Caribbean contrary to popular belief. I was amazed at the number of universities abroad, including prestigious ones, that recognize CAPE! Itll save you a lot of time if you go to a college that transfers your CAPE scores into college credit just like me :)
