Hey my social justice friends. We have a sharing great ideas vs. privacy issue. Most of us choose to use pretty strong privacy controls over our FB page. Understandably so. I sure dont want the whole world to see my El DeBarge look-a-like teen photos. :) So many of you are posting really great educational and inspiring things that deserve to be shouted to and from the mountain tops but because of privacy controls they dont go very far. I have decided to address this issue for myself by creating a separate page that will be completely public. Dewitt Campbell, III on the Battlefield will be my strongest, loudest social justice outlet. I hope my regular friends will choose to join but they will have an opt out while at the same time I can maybe connect with a broader audience that may or may not be one of my closest 564 personal friends. LOL My new page will use my name because I dont want to hide and all posts and media will be public. I added on the Battlefield to the end of my name because I believe we are in the early stages of a revolution. Change is going to come if we choose to make it so. Charisse Jackson always talked about being on the battlefield and quite honestly i didnt want to be on the damn battlefield. I wanted to chill. I was wrong! Please join me on the battlefield. Perhaps you will consider doing the same thing. It might be powerful if a lot of folks did this and added on the Battlefield to end of their public page.
