Hey so I just wanted to let everyone know that Belden Town definitely has poisonous snakes in and around the area. After the bass and all the vibration comes along they usually like to get outta dodge. But that doesnt mean that they will all leave. There has been incidents in the past and people should just be aware of the possibilities. Shady areas such as underneath cars and near the ivy are more likely to have a little duder hiding. Nice and cool, less traffic. If there is a car parked in the sun. Dont walk right next to it. Give it some space. festivals in the past have had multiple snakes found under cars. ALSO THIS IS IMPORTANT. Make sure you zip your tent up at the top and not near the bottom because they will push their heads through the zippers and take shady refuge in your tent. Nothing will chap your ass like coming back from the hyphy beach and finding an unwanted guest in your tent. Look under chairs before you sit on them. Try not to walk in dense shrubbery. Please try to stay on the trials and keep the bush whacking to a minimum. If you see a snake, please go and find one of the camp crew or a belden staff member to handle it. DO NOT approach or try to go all steve irwin on them. Camp ? Strives to provide a safe and secure environment for everyone to let loose and shake their kaboose but no amount of planning can prepare for mother nature and her mighty boosh. So please stay safe and be smart out there. Respect Mother Nature. Respect the Boosh.
