Hey team B, we hope you all.have had a great weekend so far. We told you we were hoping Balis chest tubes would slow down with the drainage. They did, however they slowed down too much too fast. The fluid has built up around his lungs and its making it difficult for him to breathe. More than likely they will be inserting another tube into his side to allow for more drainage. The Dr says it could be 3 more weeks here in the hospital, it all depends on how his drainage goes. This is not what we wanted to hear at all. We are still very thankful for his progress, we.just didnt want any more setbacks. Balis is pretty out of it today. We feel its because of the medicine and because hes extra tired from working so hard to breathe. He has developed a little case of thrush from the antibiotics he was on. God has brought our little boy this far and we know hes going to bring him home. Wed love it if the rest of the journey could be expedited a little bit here though. Keep Sarah in your prayers also please. Shes as dedicated a Mother that there has ever been. Shes also weary and this new news has her feeling a little defeated. I do not blame her one bit.
