Hey there Brewlus! One more of theses announcements! Mateo & Bernabé & Friends and Beancurdturtle Brewing LLC (Daniel Fernandez) created a beer aptly named, 29 Daniel. Brewed over 11 months ago, this robust porter has been aging in spent, La Riojan, wooden red wine barrels. This beer is truly amazing and you need to have it in your beer lives! There are only 3 kegs designated for Cali and only 200 6-bottle cases for the country (most of which also designated for Cali). We/I (Sublime Imports) am the importer, but Lime Ventures will be the distributor. You can help out by starting making requests to your favorite bottle shops, beer bars, and such to pick some up from Lime. Thank you for your time and support guys! Tasting review: Reminiscent of a Flanders Red. Wonderful light funkiness in the nose and on the palate. Deep chestnut brown color with a a persistent, rocky head. Creamy, nearly luscious mouthfeel balanced by spritzy carbonation. Tart like lactobacillus and/or pediococcus. Wood tannins and vinous. Prunes and dried dates. Cacao, light coffee, and dark pumpernickel raisin bread. The time, effort, love, and care that went into this beer is absolutely palpable. I am incredibly proud to import and represent this masterpiece. Salud!
