Hey there! Im Leonardo DiCaprio, but you can call me Leo. Im about 1.5 years old and Im a little pit mix. I only weigh about 40lbs, but Im not very tall. My foster mama says Im a good sized pup. I found my way to the shelter when I was picked up as a stray, and stayed at the shelter for a little bit over a month. I was really scared, and I was a bit too skinny and my hair was falling out. I didnt show well in the kennels and was struggling to find a home. Thats when my foster mama stepped in. Shes been working with me a lot and says Ive made great progress! I have come out of my shell and I love to run and play. Ive gained some more weight and my hair has started growing back. I LOVE to chase other dogs around, and the dog park is one of my favorite places to be. I dont really like kitties though! I take a while to get used to new people, but I swear if you give me enough time Ill become your most loyal companion. Im still getting used to that thing called a crate but its pretty cool. Im doing good on housetraining but sometimes I make an accident if my foster mama doesnt let me out enough. Im very well mannered but I do chew on things when I get bored. Whoopsies! But seriously- I love to lounge in bed all day and snuggle with my foster family. I didnt win any Oscars but I know by now Ive won your heart.
