Hey there, everyone! Thanks for letting me in the group! My name is Burton, and Im a 43yr old, disabled man (rare blood disorder called porphyria) with a rescued, adopted service pug (named Ginsberg). My life recently took an unexpected (awful) turn, but Ive chosen to make lemonade outta lemons, and go in a new direction...doing something much bigger than myself (animal rescue related), and I was wondering if youd take a look at it, and if its something you feel you could get behind, donate (if you can), and/or share it with your friends?!? Itd mean the world to me, and heavily increase my odds of fully realizing this new path!! Im both excited & a bit scared, but Im soooo ready to get out there and start our (my pug and myself) new lives, promoting a cause that we hold dear to our hearts. Ty so much for your consideration. :-) Addendum: We truly are all about the animals, and one of the things at the top of our list of things to do, is to register A Man and his Pug as a non profit organization, so that all donations to/through us can be legal tax write offs, & so Uncle Sam cant take one penny away from the animals!!
