Hey there folks, hope this is OK to promote but my local gaming club is holding its first full Games Day next Saturday (15th March). There will be a WHOPPING 10 tables set up for your gaming enjoyment, with terrain sets that can be used for Kings of War, X Wing, Deadzone, Infinity, 40k, Dreadball, Firestorm Armada, Dropzone Commander (youve got to see the table Ash has put together!). So if you want to bring an army to play therell be plenty of room. Were also running a great variety of demo games as well with our club committee geared up to introduce you to new games and take you through step by step. Weve also got 2 tables to play board/card games and will have King of Tokyo, Firefly, Ticket to Ride, Munchkin, Settlers of Catan, Carcassonne and many more to get stuck into. Theres an air of anticipation as well with Mantics top man, Ronnie Renton, coming to support our event and maybe bringing some new minis with him... Have Mantic got a Kickstarter running at the moment??? ;) Theres reshreshments aplenty available throughout the day. We have a fully licenced bar and therell also be food available to order, after all, an army marches on its stomach! We should also remind everyone that the entry fee of £7 includes a free strip of tickets for our grand raffle, prizes including amera terrain, Spartan Games goodies, a humbrol paint station and much more. So folks, hope some of you will be able to join us to roll some dice next Saturday (15th March) at the inaugural War & Peace Games Day, Springfield Hall, Sandiacre, NG10 5BJ.
