Hey there tangueros, LINEAR VOLEOS are not only for performance. They can be also be danced with discretion on the social dance floor - kept low and away from other dancers, and early or late in the milonga when space permits. Voleos are a huge theme in tango...con, contra, circular, linear, in parallel system, and crossed system. It isnt very often that we investigate linear voleos in class. But, for tonight and a few more Mondays, we will devote a portion of the intermediate/advanced class to this theme. Thats 9 pm tonight. Lets have fun with it!
