Hey to all the people who love us so well. We love you too. The deepening of so many friendships, the re-aquainting with so many older friendships and the desire and plan for Jeff and I to kiss at every greeting knowing it may be the last, has been the icing on the cake for this tragedy. We are doing fairly good. Random tears here and there when we see old photos or discuss how wonderful our puppy really was. Still feeling grateful to be alive and thankful to have a wonderful community that is really eager to help in big and small ways. Praying mostly for patience and anxiety around the task ahead of us of dealing with insurance. Our agent, Brandon Burke, has been wonderful. But unfortunately because this is a large loss claim he doesnt have complete control of all the steps that we need to take. I have had the unfortunate experience of not receiving a return call from the large claim agent about a potential rental house and its been 36 hours since I contacted him. Feeling slightly deflated BUT knowing that every single moment is in Gods hand and trusting his timing and not ours.
