Hey, today I want you to know something that... Youve Been Marked by God! When God touched Jacob’s hip and reduced him to a limp, the encounter left an unforgettable imprint on his life. The difference was obvious. Even those who were too dull to discern the inward change could not help but see the change in Jacobs walk. Everyone was talking about the change. I can imagine Josephs friends asking him, “Joseph, why does your dad limp?” “He has walked like that,” I suppose Joseph responding, “ever since He met with God.” That change in Jacob had a profound effect upon his children. When God disabled Jacobs natural strength, it opened the way for him to become a deeply spiritual man. So, what was God after in Jacob? In one word, meekness! Meekness is the character quality God develops in your spirit when He takes your hip out. Its hard to push YOUR way through life when your hip is out... May we have that kind of encounter with God. How desperately we need that kind of touch! Happy Monday!!!
