Hey yall. So in finding out what a citizen is under law i looked up the definition in the Blackslaw ddictionary, sixth edition..it defines citizen as: citizens are members of a political community who, in their associated capacity, have established or submitted themselves to the dominion of the government for the promotion of their general welfare and the protection of their individual as well as collective rights. Next Illooked up a key word used in that definition..dominion, which is defined as: Perfect control in right of ownership. The word implies both title and possession and appears to require a complete retention of control over disposition. Title to an article of property which arises from the power of disposition and the right of claiming it. So you see..as a citizen youre considered nothing but a ward, or property of the government. We the People detailed in the preamble is a different status of resident than a citizen, a citizen operates in an associated capacity, the power of the government is not derived from a citizen. When they say that the government serves the People, citizens arent included. Thats the kind of word game, semantics, they play in the legal arena... good morning to yall, my Folks :-)
