Heyseuss mariah!! That set tonight by Sean Kershaw, Jason Hogue, Bruce Martin, and Kenneth Blackwell was transcendent! Thank you gentlemen. Your show will buoy me through the rest of this damn winter! That was New York. That was New Orleans. That was not tiny town Anchorage, Alaska. Holy smokes, that was hot. Anchorage City Limits Lofts - Lofts Hotel, 20 people max (Erin Mullally, Michael Holtz, Laura Bunnell might share what they witnessed) were fortunate enough to witness a melding of musical worlds that never wouldve or shouldve met. Somehow Sean and Bruce let Jason off the leash, Jet Li style to meander into a tight, fierce and funky jazz world. A-towns own Kenny followed him in and they returned via Bruces synchopated direction to meld honky tonk with jazz. Seriously, I have heard Route 66 probably about 1200 times in my life. Tonight, I was weeping, laughing and percussing on anything in my immediate vicinity. Again, thank you gentlemen. Big love to Prince Albert, Steven J Heimel and KNBA 90.3 for their support!
