Heyy friendz...read it, its my own story :( ALL FINGERS ARE NOT EQUAL! By Sameera Aziz My Pakistani maid Perveen Bibi stole 10,000 riyal and ran away in Eid day. Earlier, someone stole around 5,000 riyal from the ‘money box’ of my son but I could not find out that which of my maids has stolen them. Now, I am quite sure that this Pakistani maid has stolen my sons money as well. Our several costly things have lost since she came to my home 9 months ago. I found her unprofessional, lazy, very dirty, stubborn & liar. I sent her money for the special cooking course before bringing her to Jeddah. But after coming here, she told me wickedly that she forgot whatever she has learnt. We bore her all expenses and cost to bring her to Jeddah. She used to beat my Filipino maid daily, pulled her hairs, accused all household workers falsely, shouted & called names in Punjabi language and steals their things. She was keep scratching her head and her other body areas. We always found her hairs in food. So, I instructed her to cover her head and wear an apron while cooking but she never followed my instructions. Despite teaching her many times, she never showed her interest to learn the etiquette of table-setting for lunch and dinners. She was keep spitting saliva in my clean floor of tiles. She broke my costly utensils & decorative items whenever she got angry and even misbehaved with the guests living in my home. She used to talk filthy things with people about me, my family & about my other household staffs. People informed me but I ignored. She used to give us unfiltered water & unhygienic food. She destroyed all electronic items in my home and she did not respond when we try to teach her the methods to use electronic items. She burnt the food daily & wasted milk by boiling it. She cooked vegetables, meat or chicken without washing them and with full of oil and chilly. She threw away cooked food in the dust-bin many times just because she cooked it wrongly or burnt it. So, I always told my other household workers to keep an eye on her when she works in the kitchen and make sure that she washes her hands & takes bath daily. I specially gave her anti-lice shampoo, itching cream, perfumes & underarms roll-on to avoid her stinky smell. I even gave her the Iron tablets & multivitamins to eat daily because I thought that her memory is weak. But then I realized that she deliberately acted oppositely if I instructed her about anything just because she was a person with negative attitude. Since her joining, she has been claiming every other day that she is sick. Her medical report for house maid visa was cleared. I sent her to the doctor many times but the doctor always replied that she does not need any medicine and her all reports and blood tests are normal. Then, I changed the doctor but the other doctor replied the same. She said that the doctors are liars. After that I realized that she is a drama queen and she just wants to gain my sympathies because she wants the other household workers to do her work. I have 9 cats in my home right now. Our 6 Persian cats have died with Diarrhea since Perveen Bibi came to my home. She gave them stinky food. She used to kick my cats, even the pregnant cats, with hatred. Before coming to Jeddah, she told me that she loves cats and she will happily take care of them. After that I stopped giving her any work & I paid her for no work because I decided to send her back respectfully. I paid her salary in the 1st day of every month and she put her thumb impression after receiving the amount every month. She was very smart in calculating her money and to handle her mobile numbers. She was happy to get salary without work. But even after that she did not stop making problems with the other household workers. She beat them with anything. Everyone tried to avoid her. One day, my Indonesian driver complained that Perveen Bibi has been trying to seduce him and she always come to his room whenever he is alone or sleeping. I asked him for the proof. So, next time when she came he closed the door and called me immediately to come and see. I asked her strictly that what she is doing in male-servant quarter? She started crying and rolling on the floor. I started laughing and told my driver to leave her alone, she is a drama queen. Then again, I caught her talking vulgarly with a man in Urdu language in her mobile. This man once came to my home for some ceiling work. After my return from the hospital recently (after my weight lost surgery or VSG), my gardener informed me that he heard Perveen Bibi talking to her daughter in Pakistan that “my madam has just come from the hospital and she needs to stay happy. So, I am doing lots of mess and problems daily and I will not let her to stay peaceful and happy. And I am also not giving her the hygienic food and I have ruined the discipline of her home. I spit on her floors. She will have to accept my way.” After that my other household staff did not allow her to touch my food. I have a modern Saudi culture in my home and we eat all kind of food like Saudi, Chinese, Arab, Indian, Pakistani, intercontinental etc. I trained my children with etiquette and table manners which Perveen Bibi did not accept to learn and follow as a cook. She tried to teach her illiterate ways to my humble children and they quietly obey her in my absence. They told me “mom, we were just pleasing Perveen Bibi. We know that she is illiterate and ill mannered. But we are enough grown up and we are not going to adopt her ways” Actually, I am very much sensitive about the brought up of my children. You can say I am a very careful and serious parent. My whole kitchen is open for maids & I believe my maids eat better than us in my home. In fact, maids give us the food. I love my household workers because they really care us a lot. They try to provide their best services to us. They admire that I specially furnished their air conditioned bedrooms, TV areas, attached bath & even WiFi is available for my household staff. They go for shopping, dining out & enjoy their life. They are always in touch with me by Whatsapp & Skype even if I travel abroad. My all household workers live happily in my home. I dont know why only this Pakistani cook did all this in my home while she was badly in need of money. She wanted salary but she did not want to give us her services. Some people are just thankless of Allah & when He gives them the opportunity, they waste it with their evil acts. I know that Pakistani household workers are good but this cook was really a strange woman & a bad human being. ......But anyway, my old Pakistani cook is coming back soon and she is very happy. In fact, she said that she was praying for getting a chance again to work in my home. She went back to Pakistan for her marriage & now I am bringing her back with her husband as a driver. Perveen Bibi knew that I am sending her back to her country, so she stole the money & ran away. I am going to report to the police & put Huroob in her status (ran away). We dont have her any responsibility from now on. Sooner or later, she will be definitely caught by authorities & she will not be able to leave Saudi Arabia because now everything is computerized here. BUT YES, I still believe that a Pakistani cook is better for me. ALL FINGERS ARE NOT EQUAL....!!! Saudis can also be bad employers BUT employees can also be evil. Every society has bad and good people. Again I will say ALL FINGERS ARE NOT EQUAL…!!! (*Here I found a picture of Perveen Bibi along with my some other household staff. They are dining out in Jeddah in this picture. They sent me this picture in last Eid ul Fitr when I was in Orlando, USA. I gave them some amount for shopping, picnic & party before leaving from Jeddah. So they were keep sending me their pictures about their activities. It was the first Eid of Perveen Bibi & she was very happy for having so much fun. In this picture, Perveen Bibi is sitting & smiling in the middle with the black scarf in her head.) ( *In another picture, you can see a glass oven of my kitchen. It’s a digital oven & you can see what Perveen Bibi has done with this expensive oven. This is just one example as an evidence). (*The third picture is a snapshot of my chat with my Filipino maid. She complained me after got beaten by Perveen Bibi. I saw that my thin & slim Filipino maid was grabbed by the healthy Perveen Bibi and she was acting like a wrestler. I got annoyed with Perveen Bibi & I told her that I will call police if you will again touch each other. Then I left home and at Whatsapp, my Filipino maid informed me that Perveen Bibi was laughing after I left home. P.S. the light green chat is mine & the white chat belongs to my Filipino maid)
