Hi - does anyone have an interest in a regular (or frequent) SE Seattle social hour? Weve got lots of good spots for happy hours or informal get-togethers to meet, talk south side politics and issues, get to know our neighbors, (and then) gossip about our neighbors, check out local music and culture, etc. Does a Columbia City meetup group already exist? Is the interest great enough for me to invest the laborious 15 minutes of blood, sweat and tears it would take to set something up online? Please reply if you might actually show up to such a thing. No, I mean, really show up... not just yeah, great idea! we should network and harness the creative diverse energy of 98118 and then I post a plan and youre all oops, its raining, and I dont really feel like harnessing the laborious 15 minutes of blood, sweat and tears to walk down to the Royal Room to sip a drink. And Im all well, that was a bust - nobody showed up. And youre all well, you kinda seemed like a naysayer even from your original post, predicting failure and all. And it was raining. You get the idea. Lets not let that happen.
