Hi - me again. Im after some recommendations please regarding invoicing software. For those of you that dont know... Ive got a cleaning business. Its just me (no employees). It all started in October 2009 with one client and has slowly built up since then. Since September 2013 requests for regular/one off/occasional cleans have been coming in at the rate of two or three a week. I have 11 regular clients and of course all the one-off/occasional clients. Some of my clients pay me cash on the day and at the end of the month I email them a receipt. The remainder of my clients pay me monthly direct into my bank account and I invoice them as follows... the commercial client inv at end of month for work undertaken that month domestic clients inv at beginning of month for month ahead (arrangement being they pay me in the middle of the month so two weeks in arrears two weeks in advance). Currently I generate receipts and invoices in MS Word. But now with so many clients to invoice/receipt each month its becoming cumbersome. Income gets recorded in one cash book. Expenditure in another. I dont use an accountant and I do my own tax return. Is there such a thing as a simple accounts package? Sorry for the essay :D
