Hi All, As autumn approaches and the nights are drawing in, let the crafting begin!!!! There are lots of workshops I am trying to organise for the daytime, evening and weekends. You will probably receive lots of emails, so please bear with me! Here are the evening workshops… His or Her Apron (waist) Workshop Tuesday 9th September Time: 7pm – 9pm Cost: £20.00 per person Make yourself an apron for the waist, with a handy pocket. This apron will be made using a sewing machine. This will make a great gift for a friend or relative. All materials are included in the price. Cloth Storage Box Workshop Wednesday 10th September Time: 7pm – 9pm Cost: £25 per person This cloth storage box is great for bedrooms, craft rooms or any room that needs some nice looking storage! It will be a lot prettier than plastic boxes. You will be making a medium storage box using a sewing machine. Fabric and interfacing will be provided. The instructions given will be for 3 different size boxes. If you finish and would like to make more, the fabric etc. will need to be purchased separately. Hoop Art Workshop Tuesday 16th September Time: 7pm – 9pm Cost: £20 per person Hoop Art is very ‘in trend’ at the moment as they are seen in numerous articles in magazines and in many ‘pins’ on Pinterest which have many different examples of embroidery hoop ‘art’. An embroidery hoop is covered in fabric and can be personalised to make a nice piece of art for a bedroom, or craft/make-up tidy. An 8” embroidery hoop will be used to show you how it’s done and then you could go home and experiment will larger or smaller hoops. The fabric and hoop is included in the price. Applique Cushion Workshop Wednesday 17th September Time: 7pm – 9pm Cost: £20 per person This cushion is designed to be quick and easy. Applique hearts will be added to the front or it could be made into a Christmas cushion. All materials are provided. ‘Merry Christmas’ Bunting Workshop Tuesday 23rd September Time: 7pm – 9pm Cost: £25 per person This ‘Merry Christmas’ bunting is a decoration that can be brought out year after year. The finished bunting will be approximately 3 metres long and the 15 flags used to create your bunting will be made using our new Christmas fabrics. You will be using Bondaweb to apply the letters to the flags. All materials are provided. Fabric Gift Bag and Bottle Bag Workshop Tuesday 30th September Time: 7pm – 9pm Cost: £20 per person This gift bag workshop is perfect for adding that special finishing touch to your gift. If there is time, you can also make a fabric bottle bag. Perfect for birthday or Christmas gifts. All materials will be provided. Mini Stockings Advent Panel Wednesday 1st October Time: 7pm – 9pm Cost: £20 per person The Advent Calendar Workshop will involve using a mini stockings panel which will contain 24 stockings for you to cut out and sew together. The calendar will take a few hours to put together, so this workshop is designed to help you get on your way. The panel is included in the workshop but the backing and bias binding needs to be brought separately. Tablet (iPad or Kindle) Case Workshop Tuesday 7th October Time: 7pm-9pm Cost: £20 per person This workshop is perfect for a present or to make for yourself. It involves creating a lovely tablet case that is fastened by Velcro. The workshop will involve machine sewing and some hand sewing. All materials will be provided. Santa Sack Workshop Tuesday 14th October Time: 7pm – 9pm Cost: £20 per person Make a Santa sack for your child or grandchild. The sack will have a drawstring top and you will be able to personalise it with their name if you wish. All materials will be provided. If you could let me know the name before the workshop, this would really help. Heart, Dog or Owl Cushion Workshop Wednesday 15th October Cost: 7pm – 9pm Cost: £20 per person Your choice of cushion can be used as a great accessory for your bedroom, living room or as a gift. The cushions will be sealed and therefore will contain stuffing and not a cushion pad. At time of booking, we would like to know which of the three designs you would prefer to make. This will allow us to ensure we have the correct amount of templates available. Notice Board Workshop Thursday 30th October Time: 7pm – 9pm Cost: £20.00 per person This is a simple workshop designed to inspire creativity. It involves creating a unique A3 sized notice board that you can style to suit your home. The notice board will be made using a canvas, material, ribbon and other accessories. This workshop involves no sewing. All materials included in workshop price. PLEASE READ: All workshops are limited to 6 places, as we feel this is the perfect number to ensure the best possible experience and plenty of time with the workshop tutor. Places are allocated on a first come first serve basis and we ask only that if, after registering, you are unable to attend for any reason, please try to give us as much notice as possible so that we can allocate the place to a fellow crafter. We have a limited supply of sewing machines, so please let us know is you will not be able to bring your own. We are happy to supply cutting mats and rules etc., but please feel free to bring your own if you prefer. As always refreshments will be served during the event.
