Hi All, For people who are maybe new to the group or havent had a quick read of the rules in a while... Please have a quick read over the pinned post at the top of the page. It sets a few simple rules to keep everything relevant and friendly. A few things that arent acceptable are the likes of behaviour that aims to provoke, upset or belittle people. We are all entitled to have an option we believe in, however as we are all different you must accept the fact not everyone will have the same viewpoint - and that is how the conversation should be left. Sensibly make the point you believe in, justify your point and move on with the conversation. Any form of behaviour that constitutes as what can only be described as bullying will simply end up deleted and you wont have a second chance to post on the group. For the very highest percentage of the time the group is a friendly place with many people sharing experiences of the the town in the past. There is a great bunch of people on here that enjoy the concept and also make some fantastic contributions. However for everything to stay friendly and on target it does take a little help, so if you notice a conversation or individual which has completely missed what the aim of this group please let me know and I will always sort things. Right back to past it is then! :-) Ta, J! PS: Please also be aware of the law, I have seen and deleted many seriously stupid/naive comments over the years. Be aware what you write on Facebook is recorded (even after its been deleted). So if you say something that is offensive enough to ever be reported, its traceable. PPS: Happy Thursday! :-)
