Hi All!! I just wanted to advertise a feminist reading group that I, together with my two dear friends, Francesca and Grace, helped to set up last term. Despite it not being a KXC-run project, we would love to open it up to the members of the church. By feminist reading group, we mean to devote our sessions to the literary output of mainly women writers. Last term we had great fun getting to grips with the early novels of Virginia Woolf. This year we will be expanding our reading list and exploring the prose and poetry of a range of women writers, from Carol Ann Duffy to Simone de Beauvoir. We would love for any literature lovers- both men and women- to join our fortnightly reading sessions. The group meets from 7-9pm, every other Wednesday, in Tent. Our first reading session begins on Wednesday the 14th of Jan.
