Hi All, Im staging this event at Elstree Studios in November: Ray Brooks: Learning My Lines Join Ray Brooks in the Preview Theatre at Elstree Studios on Friday 14th November 2014 as he discusses his life and acting career with Paul Burton. Ray is best-known for appearing in the films The Knack, Doctor Who: Daleks Invasion Earth 2150 AD and Carry On Abroad. While his TV credits include Cathy Come Home, Taxi, The Avengers, Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased), Big Deal and Running Wild. He also played Pauline Fowlers husband, Joe Macer, in the BBC soap, EastEnders. Along with lending his voice a number of adverts and trailers over the years, Ray was the narrator on the fondly remembered childrens TV series, Mr. Benn. During the 75-minute interview, Ray will take part in a Q&A session with the audience. This will be followed by an opportunity to purchase signed copies of his autobiography, Learning My Lines, and his debut novel, Echoes.
