Hi All, To those that attended our Xmas Party on Saturday Night, even though there wasnt as many there as there has been in the past, I hope you all enjoyed yourselves & that the food was good. Juniors return to cricket on 31st January & Seniors return on the 10th January. On that day 1st, 2nd & 4th grades have the bye leaving 3rd & 5th grades the only teams playing. This also sees the return of cricket to Thornton Oval with 3rd grade taking on Norths in the final round of the T20 draw. the game kicks off 12.30pm. Afterwards their will be an inter club 20/20 game, which will also back up as a trial for selection into the squad for the 1st grade 20/20 comp on Sunday of the Australia Day Long Weekend. Team selections for the interclub game will be made by myself & Ricky. So there are no discrepancies in this game I have asked an Umpire if they would volunteer there services which will also help guys get accustomed to the rules. After the game we will fire up the BBQ & Im sure a few Beveridges to ease the soreness of the first game back syndrome. If any of the 1st & 2nd grade players are not available on the 10th can they let me know please. MERRY XMAS & A HAPPY NEW YEAR
