Hi All!! Today we are diffusing a synergy of Rosemary, Peppermint & Ginger. It is a stimulating and uplifting mix thats great as a morning pick me up :) Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) is a good choice for tired, stiff & overworked muscles, rheumatism and arthritis due to its pain relieving & topical warming/blood flow enhancing properties. Rosemary is also used for bronchitis, colds/flu and sinusitis because its helps reduce excess mucous and is antimicrobial. Rosemary is invigorating and stimulating for the nervous system so is recommended for poor concentration, debility, headaches, mental & physical fatigue, and is antidepressant so can be used for depression and nervous exhaustion. This oil can help stimulate hair growth so may help with premature baldness and can help prevent dandruff. Rosemary is a tonic for the liver & gallbladder, and for the heart so help with low blood pressure, cardiac fatigue and palpitations. Avoid if you have high blood pressure & epilepsy. Peppermint (Mentha piperita) Use Peppermint to help treat acne, dermatitis, ringworm, scabies, toothache, neuralgia, muscular aches & pains, palpitations, asthma, bronchitis, halitosis, sinusitis, catarrh, head-colds, colic, digestive cramps, dyspepsia, flatulence, nausea, fever, fainting, headaches, mental fatigue, nervous stress and vertigo. Use in moderation and in low concentration - some people may be sensitive to menthol content. Ginger (Zingiber officinale) is steam distilled from the root. It is warm, sweet, woody and spicy. A great oil to use in winter, ginger is warming and analgesic and so is wonderful used in blends for cold limbs, bad circulation, colds & flu and muscular aches and pains. A well known digestive, Ginger is particularly useful for treating nausea, morning sickness, diarrhoea, constipation, poor digestion, hang-over and travel sickness. Used in a carrier oil, the blend should be massaged gently in clockwise circular movements over the abdomen. Ginger can irritate the skin so should be used in low dilution. Do not use if using Homeopathic remedies. Have a wonderful day everyone!! Becky & Michelle :)
