Hi All… “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?” Ro 8:35. If you or I base our view of God’s love on our circumstances, we will become confused. There may be times when you or I will ask, “How could a loving God allow this to happen to me?” We may begin to question what we find clearly stated in the Word of God. God promised that you and I would never be separated from His love; He didn’t say that we would never face hardship, persecution, poverty, or danger. If you or I doubt that God could love us and still allow us to experience difficult experiences, consider the life of Jesus. If we allow the death of Jesus on the cross to forever settle any questions we might have about God’s love, we will approach difficult circumstances with confidence. Knowing that there will never be anything that could separate us from God’s perfect love, we will watch to see how God expresses His love in each circumstance. We must never judge God’s love based on our circumstances. Instead, evaluate each of our circumstances from the perspective of God’s love. Blessings!
