Hi All, finally starting a food diary after a very stressful week - TopicsExpress

Hi All, finally starting a food diary after a very stressful week (which I fell off the wagon!) But first, a little about myself... Im Laura, Im 21 and I live in the beautiful Blue Mountains in NSW, Australia. I was always extremely healthy and active as a child/teenager. I was a nationally ranked swimmer as a young teenager, but after not warming up properly before a training session when I was 14, I dislocated both shoulders and they never recovered (due to the fact I cannot have them fixed due to an allergy to anesthetics). Not being able to do my swimming or other sports (I was a runner, played hockey, had horses and competed in showjumping and loved volleyball), and being an emotional eater, I packed on the kgs, and fast. Currently, I am extremely overweight, shy and find myself hiding away because I am ashamed of how I look. I only leave the house to go to work. I have lost many friends, so much so that the only social interaction I have is with my parents and my pets. I am lonely, fat and sick and tired of being like this. So tomorrow is the day I am getting down to it. I am going to Fiji in 2016, and I am determined to be a much smaller, healthier version of myself by then. I have IBS and was recently told by my doctor that my cholesterol levels are high for my age. I want to get healthy. My ultimate goal is to get back to the level of fitness I was at, and I want to run a marathon. I have already lost a few kgs thanks to RT4, but fell off the wagon for about a week after my beloved puppy dog passed away. But I am back now. I have been vegetarian for about 3months and vegan for about a month now. I do find eating all the calories a bit hard, but I try to do my best! Thanks for setting up this page, it keeps me motivated and determined to change my life for the better! :)
