Hi Charvel junkies. Last time I posted I got a TREMENDOUS amount of feedback on this. This was a cracked headstock on a 3dr blue crackle, came that way after shipping. I used Elmers Wood glue, had no clamps (odd shape), so held it tight and then taped up for 24 hours, also a touch of black marker and wood filler. Fix is holding well. Now onto electronics. It had a lot of hum in it. I replaced bridge pickup with Dimarzio Activator, I am not experienced at replacing electronics but I think I got it in correct. Does anyone have suggestions on parts replacement for the switch and volume (no pot on this) knob? I am confident with more updated electronics she can sound great. Thanks everyone.
