Hi Coalition, this post is an attempt to try to show that you can use simple research and field tests to try to help solve a mystery. I tried to go into the thought of Sasquatch sneaking up to a horse and braiding the mane objectively but it was not easy to do. Rather I felt a bit silly about even considering it. Eventually that was why I decided to look into it. If I could dispassionately review evidence then I was doing the right thing. I believe my initial thoughts were correct and corroborated by what I found but am open to others views or evidence. Here is what I have posted elsewhere: A few years ago I was reading about the possibility that a Sasquatch will braid the manes of horses. I honestly admit I gave this little thought or credibility. Then it kept popping up online and even in a few BFRO reports. Fine. I decided to ask around and do a little research on my own. What I found was that in most cases the braids are nothing more than a natural happening due to nature and grooming. Is it still possible that a horse might allow a large potential predator to groom it? Maybe. But for me right now the belief in a large hairy predator that is really hard to find stretches the imagination a bit as it is.
