Hi Doc, Kindly withhold my ID. I am an HIV + guy who asked to be hooked up about two months ago. It was a traumatizing moment especially with some immature and discriminatory remarks from some individuals. Yet I was not discourage, instead I got more vigor, determination and courage to find love and happiness. I did not what to go into narratives of my past married life because it was hell and I have since moved on, though for years I could not get into a relationship because I was scared of being left or dumped again. But I really thank God for you and the work that you are doing-helping the brokenhearted and helping people to find love and happiness. I got hooked to this wonderful lady about 2 months ago. It was a time when I had come out of 2 surgical operations unrelated to HIV. But this lady hang-on to me for these 2 months and has been calling me almost everyday. We did not meet, because I have been unable to move because of the 2 operations. Alas, today we meet for the very first time. She had to travel from very far to come and see me. I am so humbled because if it were others, they would have stopped calling and put and end to the date. She is lovely, soft spoken and kindhearted indeed. I know she is reading this and I want to say this to her before a lot of people some that I may not even know “Baby I love you, you a rare pearl, a good woman. You have brought love, happiness, light and great hope in my life. Love you always.” She met my brother, and on Wednesday I will be introducing her to my parents. Apparently, I know the brother we live in the same area. Doc, uyu gelo nde geta. I have indeed found a good woman. I have grown to love her, and hopefully when I am well we hope to spend more time together. We have agreed to abstain until we marry because that is the only way we can secure God’s blessings in our marriage. Since we are both above 37 years, we are serious and have been discussing important issues and we hope to wed by June next year and of course, we will invite you (special invitation). I have share this in order to encourage the so many people that might be going through a similar situation but also to show that hook-up works depending on the maturity and seriousness of the people involved. More importantly, I just want to thank you so much for what you are doing. I thank God for giving you that heart to encourage and inspire others. May God rich bless you in you endeavors.
